For decades, Tabbatha has quietly and consistently helped new breeding programs get started the right way. She has guided people who came in knowing very little about breeding, patiently answering every question and offering support without ever making anyone feel small, or embarrassed for asking. Her mentorship has helped multiple programs build confidence, learn responsible practices, and understand the importance of doing things correctly from the beginning. A key part of her guidance is encouraging breeders to follow OFA recommended health testing. She explains the “why” behind it, helps newcomers understand the process, and supports them in making responsible decisions — always with kindness, humility, and a genuine desire to see others succeed. She leads with experience, but teaches with compassion, making her one of the most trusted and approachable mentors in the bloodhound community.

AKC Puppy Registration
Teoc pays for your puppy’s individual AKC registration. New owners complete the online registration to finalize ownership and choose their puppy’s official AKC name. Many families include the kennel prefix Teoc's at the beginning of their puppy’s registered name to honor the kennel’s heritage and lineage. If we have discussed a different naming format with you previously, please follow the plan we agreed on. Complete your AKC registration below:
AKC Reunite
Microchip Enrollment
Teoc implants your puppy’s microchip as part of our commitment to responsible, ethical breeding. New owners must complete the AKC Reunite enrollment so the microchip is linked to their name and contact information. This ensures your puppy can be identified and returned to you quickly if ever lost or separated. You’ll find the AKC Reunite enrollment link below to complete this important step.
Next Veterinary Exam
Teoc completes the puppy’s 6‑week vaccination, routine deworming, and begins heartworm/intestinal worms/flea prevention prior to pickup. The next vaccine is typically due at 9 weeks of age, along with continued deworming and monthly preventatives as recommended by your veterinarian. Vaccination and parasite‑control schedules can vary across different regions of the United States, so your vet will advise you on the best plan for your area and your puppy’s needs.
